三根锁链悬挂着金色雕花吊灯从高空垂落下来，灯上燃烧着六根蜡烛。三面墙壁贴着白底金纹壁纸，壁纸边框上的装饰图案皆是以美丽的幼年佣人为主题。靠左的墙面处有一方壁炉，壁炉上摆放着两个烛台，和吊灯风格一致，五根蜡烛成分散式立在烛台上熊熊燃烧。烛台之间摆放着一个沙漏，群青色的细沙明明在上方却没有落下。背后是一面高大的镜子，映照着烛光。透过镜面可以看到对面的墙上挂着的一幅新古典主义油画，描绘的似乎是一场佣人仪式。靠近门的一面墙左边放着低矮的柜子，柜面上陈列了一些酒和陶瓷制品，小小的香薰炉内缓缓飘出轻烟。右边靠墙摆放着写字桌，书写用具一应俱全。门的对面则是整面窗户，绿色天鹅绒床帘从很高的地方垂落下来。窗外的莫伊拉星球灯火通明。房间的正中央是一张方形长桌，并未规整地摆放，桌上不多不少一杯红茶正冒着热气，四把椅子散落在房间各处，地毯是中式风情的花卉图样，看起来倒使房间显得不那么僵硬死板。
